Australia and the Monash University Medical Center experts recently found in a study of glomerulonephritis recurrence lead to kidney failure in allogeneic transplantation of the important reasons. The study report recently published in the "New England Journal of Medicine". Analysis of data related to Australia and New Zealand accepted 1,505 cases of dialysis and transplantation in the treatment of the patient records, they confirmed by biopsy with advanced glomerular nephritis, and in the period from 1988 to 1997 received a kidney transplant. Nephritis is still recurrence confirmed by biopsy, using the Kaplan-Meier method lead to the recurrence of their different gene transplanted kidney failure 10 years to determine the incidence of, and results of the acute and chronic rejection reaction rate for comparison. The results showed that caused kidney failure in allogeneic transplantation of the decade glomerulonephritis recurrence rate was 8.4%. Experts therefore believe that the recurrence of the glomerular nephritis patients in the 10 years leading to the occurrence of such failure, the third major reason.
