Varicose veins of lower extremity diagnostic criteria

Simple varicose veins of lower extremity diagnosis is not difficult, according to the diagnostic criteria of clinical practice summed up as follows.
1. Have a long standing history and the increased abdominal pressure, or family history of varicose veins of the lower extremities.
2. Patients with venous leg obvious tortuous expansion, standing more obvious.
3. Deep venous patency, the great saphenous vein valve dysfunction, there may be traffic-venous insufficiency.
4. Doppler ultrasound or venography showed great saphenous vein tortuous expansion valve dysfunction.
5. May be associated with pigmentation, ulcers, inflammation superficial vein thrombosis, bleeding, ulcers and other complications.
